Battle Assist

Battle Assist is a custom farming assistance feature designed to reduce repetitive key pressing during combat.

Once enabled, Battle Assist automatically searches for a nearby valid monster and attempts to use the skill assigned to your F1 hotkey.

OMG+ Players can also configure additional options such as targeting method, delay, and skill combos using F1, F2, and F3.

Battle Assist does not automatically walk around the map. Your character still needs to be positioned close enough to monsters for the selected skill to reach them.

Quick Start

To use Battle Assist:

  1. Place an active combat skill on F1.
  2. Type:
@battleassist

Alias:
@auto
@macro
@turbo
@ba
  1. Battle Assist will begin searching for nearby monsters.
  2. Type @battleassist again to stop it.

When Battle Assist starts successfully, you will see a message similar to:

Battle Assist Started - Delay: 500 ms | First Enemy Seen | Combo: F1

When stopped manually:

Battle Assist Stopped.

Command Usage

The basic command is:

@battleassist

Using the command while Battle Assist is disabled will enable it.

Using the same command again while Battle Assist is already running will disable it.

OMG+ players can use the extended command format:

@battleassist <delay>:<method>:<combo>

For example:

@battleassist 500:2:3

This means:

  • 500 = 500 ms base delay
  • 2 = Closest Enemy targeting
  • 3 = F1 → F2 → F3 combo

Command Examples

Command Result
@battleassist Starts or stops Battle Assist.
@battleassist 500:1:1 500 ms delay, First Enemy Seen, F1 only.
@battleassist 500:2:1 500 ms delay, Closest Enemy, F1 only.
@battleassist 400:1:2 400 ms delay, First Enemy Seen, F1 → F2.
@battleassist 300:2:3 300 ms delay, Closest Enemy, F1 → F2 → F3.

Normal Player and OMG+

Normal players use the server's default Battle Assist settings.

For normal players:

  • Delay is fixed by the server configuration.
  • Target method is fixed by the server configuration.
  • Only F1 is used.

OMG+ players can configure:

  • Battle Assist delay
  • Target method
  • F1 / F1 → F2 / F1 → F2 → F3 combo

The server automatically limits OMG+ delay settings to the configured minimum and maximum values.

Battle Assist Delay

The first value controls the Battle Assist base delay.

Example:

@battleassist 500:1:1

In this example, Battle Assist uses a base delay of 500 milliseconds.

The delay does not bypass normal skill delay.

If a skill is successfully used, Battle Assist also considers the skill's server-side delay before performing its next action.

Because of this, setting a very low Battle Assist delay does not allow skills to ignore their normal cooldown or after-cast delay.

Targeting Method

Battle Assist supports two targeting modes.

Value Method Description
1 First Enemy Seen Uses a valid nearby enemy found during the Battle Assist search.
2 Closest Enemy Selects the valid enemy closest to your character.

Method 1: First Enemy Seen

Example:

@battleassist 500:1:1

Battle Assist searches the nearby area and selects a valid monster found during the scan.

Monsters that are already targeting your character may receive preference during this search.

Method 2: Closest Enemy

Example:

@battleassist 500:2:1

Battle Assist checks nearby valid monsters and selects the one with the shortest distance from your character.

Skill Combo

OMG+ players can configure Battle Assist to rotate through up to three skills.

Combo Value Required Hotkeys Rotation
1 F1 F1 → F1 → F1
2 F1 and F2 F1 → F2 → F1 → F2
3 F1, F2 and F3 F1 → F2 → F3 → F1

F1 Only

Place your main farming skill on F1.

Example:

@battleassist 500:2:1

Battle Assist repeatedly attempts to use F1 against nearby valid targets.

F1 → F2 Combo

Place the first skill on F1 and the second skill on F2.

Example:

@battleassist 400:2:2

The rotation becomes:

F1 → F2 → F1 → F2 → ...

F1 → F2 → F3 Combo

Place three valid skills on F1, F2, and F3.

Example:

@battleassist 300:2:3

The rotation becomes:

F1 → F2 → F3 → F1 → F2 → F3 → ...

When Battle Assist reaches F2 or F3, it attempts to continue using the same target.

If that monster dies, becomes invalid, or moves outside the search area, Battle Assist resets the combo back to F1 and searches for another target.

Hotkey Requirements

Battle Assist checks your required hotkeys before starting.

If you use F1-only mode, you need a valid skill on F1.

If you use a two-skill combo, you need valid skills on:

  • F1
  • F2

If you use a three-skill combo, you need valid skills on:

  • F1
  • F2
  • F3

If a required skill is missing, Battle Assist will not start.

For example:

Battle Assist - Please set an available player skill on F1 first.

If F2 or F3 is missing, the message will reference the corresponding hotkey.

Supported Skills

Battle Assist only works with valid player skills.

The skill must:

  • Be an active skill.
  • Be available to your character.
  • Have a usable skill level.
  • Still be available with your current equipment and status.

Battle Assist does not accept:

  • Passive skills
  • Homunculus skills
  • Mercenary skills
  • Guild skills
  • Invalid or removed skills
  • Skills your character currently cannot use

Battle Assist continuously checks the required hotkeys while running.

If a skill becomes unavailable because of an equipment change or another condition, Battle Assist will stop.

Example:

Battle Assist Stopped - Skill on F1 is unavailable. Check your equipment and hotkey.

Skill Types

Battle Assist supports different skill targeting types.

For a normal target skill, Battle Assist casts the skill directly on the selected monster.

For a ground-target skill, Battle Assist casts the skill at the monster's current position.

For a self-target skill, Battle Assist casts the skill on your character when the selected monster is within the applicable range.

Normal skill requirements still apply.

Battle Assist does not bypass:

  • Skill cooldowns
  • Cast restrictions
  • Required equipment
  • Skill conditions
  • Server-side skill checks

Search Range

Battle Assist uses the skill placed on F1 to calculate its monster search range.

This is important even when using F2 or F3 as part of a combo.

The search range considers:

  • F1 skill range
  • F1 skill splash range
  • A small additional search allowance

The final Battle Assist search radius is limited to a maximum of 12 cells.

The F1 range is checked again while Battle Assist is running, so changing your weapon, skill, or equipment can affect the search area.

What Monsters Can Battle Assist Target?

Battle Assist only attacks units that the server considers valid enemies.

It ignores:

  • Dead monsters
  • Monsters on another map
  • Non-enemy units
  • Summoned or slave monsters with a master
  • Hidden monsters
  • Cloaked monsters
  • Chase Walk monsters
  • Invisible monsters

The monster must also be within Battle Assist's current search area.

Walking, Casting, and Sitting

Battle Assist does not force actions while your character is busy performing another action.

It temporarily waits while:

  • You are walking.
  • You are casting a skill.
  • Your character cannot act yet.
  • Skill usage is temporarily blocked.
  • Another skill-related action is active.
  • A skill menu is open.

Battle Assist automatically checks again afterward.

If your character is sitting, Battle Assist also pauses.

It will not automatically stand your character.

Map Changes

Battle Assist is designed to tolerate the short period where your character is temporarily unavailable during a map transition.

Instead of immediately disabling itself, Battle Assist pauses and checks again after the character finishes loading onto the map.

Other Battle Assist stop conditions still apply.

When Battle Assist Stops Automatically

Battle Assist will automatically stop in situations where automatic combat should not continue.

This includes:

  • Your character dies.
  • Battle Assist is disabled by the server.
  • You begin trading.
  • You enter a chat room state.
  • You interact with an NPC.
  • You open an NPC shop.
  • Storage is open.
  • Vending-related activity is active.
  • Refine UI is open.
  • Barter UI is open.
  • Laphine synthesis or upgrade is active.
  • Roulette UI is open.
  • Enchant Grade UI is open.
  • Enchant UI is open.
  • Item Reform is active.
  • Item Enchant is active.
  • Skill actions become blocked.
  • The Macro Detector activates.

If Battle Assist stops because your character cannot act, you may see:

Battle Assist Stopped - Player unable to act.

If the Macro Detector activates:

Battle Assist Stopped - Macro Detector Check.

Macro Detector

Battle Assist does not bypass or interfere with the server's Macro Detector.

If a Macro Detector check begins while Battle Assist is running, Battle Assist immediately stops.

Players must complete the Macro Detector normally.

Afterward, Battle Assist may be enabled again when permitted.

Battle Assist Safety Timer

Battle Assist has a server-side safety timer.

This prevents one Battle Assist session from remaining active indefinitely.

Normal players and OMG+ players can have different maximum Battle Assist durations depending on server configuration.

When the safety timer expires, you may see:

Battle Assist Stopped - Sanity check!

You can enable Battle Assist again afterward if the normal cooldown and server rules allow it.

Restart Cooldown

When you manually stop Battle Assist, the server applies a short restart cooldown.

If you try to enable it again too quickly, you may see:

Battle Assist - Please wait a moment before enabling again.

The cooldown duration can be different for normal and OMG+ players.

Changing Battle Assist Delay

The Battle Assist system also contains a feature for updating the saved F1 delay.

When the delay is successfully updated, you may see:

【 Battle Assist 】 F1 delay updated.

For OMG+ players, the selected delay is automatically limited to the server's configured OMG+ minimum and maximum values.

For normal players, the server uses the normal Battle Assist delay.

The delay update also preserves valid Battle Assist settings where permitted.

Normal players remain restricted to the server default targeting method and F1-only mode.

📝 Note: The delay update shown above is implemented internally as a script function. The exact NPC, menu, item, or interface used to access it depends on the server's scripts.

Example Setups

Simple F1 Farming

Place your main attack skill on F1.

Then use:

@battleassist

Battle Assist will search for nearby valid monsters and repeatedly attempt to use the F1 skill.

This is the standard setup for normal players.

OMG+: Closest Enemy

Place your farming skill on F1.

Use:

@battleassist 500:2:1

Battle Assist will use a 500 ms base delay and attempt to target the closest valid enemy.

OMG+: Two-Skill Rotation

Place:

  • Skill 1 on F1
  • Skill 2 on F2

Then use:

@battleassist 400:2:2

Battle Assist will rotate:

F1 → F2 → F1 → F2

OMG+: Three-Skill Rotation

Place:

  • Skill 1 on F1
  • Skill 2 on F2
  • Skill 3 on F3

Then use:

@battleassist 300:2:3

Battle Assist will rotate:

F1 → F2 → F3 → F1 → F2 → F3

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Battle Assist walk around the map automatically?

No.

Battle Assist only searches for enemies near your current position. It does not automatically roam around the map.

Does Battle Assist attack every monster on screen?

No.

Battle Assist only searches within the range calculated from your F1 skill.

Why is F1 important?

F1 is the primary Battle Assist skill.

It is also used to calculate Battle Assist's monster search range.

Even when using F1 → F2 → F3, F1 still determines the initial search area.

Can I use passive skills?

No.

Passive skills cannot be used with Battle Assist.

Can I use ground-target skills?

Yes.

Battle Assist casts supported ground-target skills at the selected monster's current position.

Can I use self-target skills?

Yes.

Supported self-target skills are cast on your own character when the target is within the required range.

Does Battle Assist ignore skill cooldown?

No.

Normal skill delay and server-side restrictions still apply.

What happens if my target dies during a combo?

Battle Assist resets the combo back to F1 and searches for another valid target.

What happens if I change equipment?

Battle Assist re-checks the required skills.

If changing equipment causes one of your required skills to become unavailable, Battle Assist stops.

Why can't a normal player use F2 or F3?

The current server implementation restricts normal players to F1-only Battle Assist.

The extended combo configuration is available to OMG+ or privileged accounts.

Why did Battle Assist stop when I opened an NPC or Storage?

Battle Assist automatically stops during certain interactions to prevent combat automation from conflicting with another server action.

Tips

  • Put your most important farming skill on F1.
  • Make sure every hotkey required by your combo contains a valid skill.
  • Use Closest Enemy mode when you want Battle Assist to prioritize distance.
  • Remember that F1 determines the search range.
  • Battle Assist does not automatically move your character.
  • If Battle Assist suddenly stops, read the system message shown in chat.
  • Complete Macro Detector checks normally before restarting Battle Assist.
  • Changing equipment can make a hotkey skill unavailable.
  • Lower delay does not bypass normal skill delay.

Summary

For most players, Battle Assist is simple:

1. Put your farming skill on F1.
2. Type @battleassist.
3. Farm.
4. Type @battleassist again when finished.

OMG+ players can use the extended format:

@battleassist <delay>:<method>:<combo>

Example:

@battleassist 300:2:3

This uses:

  • 300 ms base delay
  • Closest Enemy targeting
  • F1 → F2 → F3 skill rotation
